Setting up & taking down a moonwalk

Setting up a Moonwalk

This are basic steps for setting up a moon bouncer, there are many other ways to do this, but we found this to most effective way of operating the bouncer unit. Before setting up your bouncer, make sure you have access to nearest electrical outlet and TEST IT before you start.

Unfold and setup the tarp. If you setting up inflatable unit in the grass secure inflatable unit by pounding the stake into the ground at an 45 degree angle from the inflatable unit. If setup is done in concrete or asphalt use sand bugs or tide the straps to tree or any other nearest object.

Unroll the unit.

Unfold the sides and straighten them out

Adjust the unit so that it lines up correctly and is centered.

Close the second blower tube by folding the vinyl fabric as tight as you can, use strap to secure it shut.

Hook the blower up to the other tube, by tight wrapping the strap around the blower and tube. Check to make sure have gathered all the fabric in the strap.

Run the end of the straps through the D-rings.

Loop the end of the strap around the nail and tie, if you are using sand bag tie it to sand bag or to nearest object (for example tree) Always inspect the unit before you allow the kids in.

Taking Down a Moonwalk

Always inspect you unit before deflating it. Check the outside and inside for any damage and stains or dirt. It is a good practice to clean unit while you inspecting it, Use your broom to Sweep debris out the vent holes in the corners of the unit. Using a handheld vacuum clean out hard to reach corners and crevices.

Turn off the blower and unhook the both tube straps. After unit totally deflated, take out the stakes from ground and unhook them. if you were using sand bags unhook sandbags and pack them up, if you tied unit to the tree or another object untie them.

Take off your shoes and walk on the unit, moving air out.

Fold one side in to the middle

Then fold the other side in to the middle.

Walk from front to back on the unit, moving any remaining air toward the blower tubes.

Then fold the other side over the first side.

Again walk from front to back on the unit, moving any remaining air toward the blower tubes.

Inflatable units are rolled just like a sleeping bags. Always start rolling from the front of the unit, to move any remaining air toward the blower tubes. Start by grasping the end tightly then fold it in, keep pushing and flattening the roll as you go. It helps to have someone walk on the roll right in front of you.

Now put the blower tubes inside of the roll.

Slide the straps under the unit, run the end of the straps through the rings on the other end of the straps and pull tight.

Loop the end of the strap around and tie in a slip knot.

That's All Folks!
